Have you recently brought a puppy home?
Is their biting and chewing driving you crazy? Are you at your wits end trying to deal with the witching hour? Are they toileting everywhere or keeping you awake at night? Are you feeling overwhelmed by all of the conflicting advice on the internet?
If you’ve spent hours on the internet searching for advice on puppy toilet training, how to stop the dreaded biting (those teeth seriously HURT) and how to stop them chewing your lovely skirting boards (what have I done by bringing this monster into my home?), don't despair - you are not alone and I have created this session specifically for you.
Puppy Settling In Session
One-off session: £80
- A small investment in your puppy's future and your peace of mind (and sanity!)
This two hour session is designed to be taken within the first couple of weeks of bringing your puppy home and can take place online or in person. We will focus on any particular worries or issues you might be having with your pupster, for example: sleep routines (or the lack thereof!), biting and chewing behaviour, toilet training or just general reassurance. I've got you!
The goal of this session is to equip you with the expertise, knowledge and assurance necessary for you to confidently navigate the challenges of raising your puppy. The session is entirely customised to your specific needs, your lifestyle, and the unique requirements of your puppy.
Here's what you'll get when you embark on this journey with me:
A pre-session questionnaire, so that I can start tailoring the session for your unique pup using this information
A 2 hour 1:1 session, either in person or online, to suit you
Following the session, I will send your unique Perfect Puppy Pack which contains clear guidance, helpful suggestions and valuable advice on all things puppy.
This includes: ensuring your home is safe for your new puppy, a personalised shopping list, recommended reading, relationship-boosting games, suggested daily routine and much more, so you have everything you need to help get things back on track.
Direct email support to answer any of your burning questions for 2 weeks following the session for any queries or panics!
A clear plan of action, which is tailored to you and your individual puppy so you know exactly what to do
Access to exclusive resources and additional training materials, including my “Top Tips for Puppy Parents” e-book
Peace of mind knowing that you’ve got the guidance you need from a qualified, kind and ethical canine professional
After this session, you can continue with one to one puppy training by doing my clever puppy training package

While the internet serves up heaps of helpful advice, it also dishes out its fair share of not-so-great tips. It can be a bit of a challenge to tell what's spot on and what's a bit off.
Sadly, much of the information you stumble upon might be outdated, not tailored to your unique puppy, or could potentially create future issues due to it being based on incorrect and outdated theories on canine behaviour.
-
The significance of establishing trust and a strong connection with your dog should not be underestimated. Scientific research has unequivocally demonstrated that relying on outdated concepts such as "the pack leader," "dominance," and other aversive dog training methods is not just detrimental to your relationship but can also result in enduring psychological harm to your dog.
Instead of effectively addressing the root causes of their issues, these methods merely suppress undesired behaviours without teaching your dog the desired alternative behaviours.
I identify as a positive reinforcement practitioner so you can be assured that the use of fear and intimidation have no place in my approach. Achieving meaningful behaviour modification requires a dedicated investment of time, compassion, and patience but the results speak for themselves. I use the most up to date, science based training methods that have your dog’s welfare at heart.
-
It's impossible to provide absolute assurances regarding the future behaviour of any animal, given the variations in individual traits, learning histories, and the influence of your own actions.
What I can guarantee is that you will be given the knowledge and techniques to help you with everything you need to set your puppy off on the right paw if you implement the strategies consistently with your dog.
